There never seem to be enough cables to drive all the devices in a house. This has allowed me to feed antenna signal to two FM radios, a DVR, and a second TV set. I haven"t measure the signal electronically, but I see no degradation of signal at any of the devices.

Got this to upgrade my old splitter when I wanted to run a MOCA network on my cable to support a TIVO Mini. I think it may have helped but the network was still to slow to make a solid connection.

I was having a problem with the occasional lost of my internet signal. My provider suggested replacing my coaxial splinter. I thought he was crazy. I guess these thing can actually go bad because it"s now working perfectly again.

A good quality splitter with actual machine threads on the connectors, unlike the cast threads that sometimes don"t work well that are found on the cheaper splitters.

I use one of these "satellite TV" splitters in my Multimedia Over Coaxial Alliance (MoCA) network. It works fine. A slightly lower cost alternative would be a "MoCA" splitter that supports the 5-1675 MHz frequency range.
