My antique Vizio 42" LCD TV only has two HDMI inputs, but I have a DVD player, a blue ray player and an Apple TV that all require HDMI connection, that"s why I bought this hub so I could have all three hooked to my TV at the same time. For now, I have my Apple TV and the blue ray player connected to the two inputs of the hub, by pressing the button on this hub, I could switch between the apple TV and blue ray player and select whichever I want to use. However I was hoping that this hub would automatically do the switching for me if I powered one off and power the other one, at least that"s what the title suggested "intelligent". The other thing is it says somewhere in the description that this hub is battery powered, but I could not figure out how to replace the battery because there"s no battery compartment or whatsoever. If there"s a battery inside, I guess I will have to use a screwdriver to take it apart 1st. Well, I will worry about later
