This is a great FTA receiver and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering purchasing one. I have not had any issues with mine other than getting used to the remote, and that is entirely on my side of the equation.
One of the very first things you want to do, is to grab some external storage and make a complete backup of the system. This could save you much grief and frustration. I have not needed my backup copy and don"t anticipate needing it, but I keep it and make new ones fairly regularly. This receiver, is really an Android based computer that is set up to function primarily as a Satellite Receiver. So, it probably wise to think more in terms of a computer, rather than as a stand alone set top box.
The remote can be challenging/frustrating until you adapt to the feel of it. It includes several touch features and is somewhat sensitive to over pushing of the buttons. It requires a light touch and somewhat quick touches or it will take an input as be done twice. Once you use it a while, you get the feel for it. I haven"t tried the voice commands, but it does support it. It also serves as an air mouse for when you doing things online or are using an Android app on the device.
You can also hook up an USB keyboard or a wireless keyboard if you are doing a lot of things that need a keyboard and or mouse.
