CHEERLINK 4*2 (4 Inputs to 2 Outputs) 4 in 2 out HDMI True Matrix Switch + Splitter with IR Remote Control, Power Supply - Supports 3D, Full HD 1080P, CEC, Deep color up to 36bit, auto-switching, "Memory" Function
OK, so here"s the deal on this: It works, it works rather quickly, and there seems to be no image issues to speak of. I use it to swap between my Vizio TV and a Sony HD Projector, both in the living room and also to add my MAC Mini Server that runs Fidelia for High-Res Audio into the system without running through the main stereo. In the capacity of video switching, it works well.
That said, it is not a quiet device - it literally never ceases making some sort of low-grade noise and also transmits noise into the HDMI audio stream. I"m not an audiophile, though I do have a decent rig for listening and a separate rig for TV/Movies. Any time there is a shift in the HDMI signal or a remote is pressed, you hear it, both from the box and in the audio stream. It"s not loud, it"s just THERE. I"m happy enough with the unit to keep it and it definitely meets my needs. For the price, I"m confident it"s a best-buy - just be aware that it is not a completely silent component - you may not even notice it... I"m properly common-grounded, good wires, etc..
