Was having a problem with my cable signal recently with modulation (diagonal) lines appearing intermitently in my TV picture. I assumed it was a new two-radio system in the area. Replaced cables, connectors, etc., but by process of elimination, that left only the cable splitter. The cheap, two dollar products the cable company installs are OK, but if you have an expensive, HI-Def TV, you want to enjoy the clearest possible picture. There is a lot of hype concerning the expensive Monster Cable products, but I decided to try this one anyway, and it delivered! This picture from both outputs may be only slightly better than the original splitter, but the isolation of non-TV signals is definitely superior. Please note that cable only uses signals up to 1 Ghz, but this unit will work well with satellite services that require the 2 Ghz bandwith that this unit offers. Sometimes this proves you get what you pay for!
